I’ve tested, changed, explored.
And now, I’m putting my experience to work for you.
Thanks to a little mistake by the Ixelles registry office, I ended up with an unusual name: Thimothée, featuring an extra ‘h.’ Add a first name as a last name, and you can imagine how many times I’ve been called Remy.
But these quirks perfectly summarize my path—full of surprises, detours, and a constant drive to explore new horizons.
Born and raised in Brussels, I grew up above my family’s restaurant, learning firsthand about the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. Determined to forge a different path, I pursued business engineering at Solvay, aiming for stability in the corporate world. But after five years and four employers, I realized that wasn’t my calling.
In 2021, I took the leap into freelancing, combining two passions: coaching people and simplifying the journey to self-employment. Starting as a consultant and right-hand to a small business CEO, I trained in coaching and began demystifying administrative processes for aspiring entrepreneurs. Today, I help entrepreneurs refine their ideas, overcome challenges, and move forward with confidence.
When I’m not coaching, I host Donne le Rythme, a podcast sharing inspiring stories. My goal remains the same: helping people advance at their own pace and in their own way.
With the right support, anyone can move
past their challenges and reach their goals.
Yes, it’s a cliché, but clichés work for a reason.
It’s better to start and try—even imperfectly—
than to stay stuck out of fear of failure.
Thought I’d stop at one cliché? Guess again!
I discovered coaching somewhat by chance in 2017. Freshly graduated and brimming with enthusiasm, I started at Ormit Talent, a consultancy firm that, between assignments, offered me 25 days of personal development training—and a professional coach named Alicia. She did such an excellent job that, shortly after completing my assignment and being hired by my then-client, AXA Assurances, I quit to pursue what truly motivated me. That experience was a turning point: I realized how transformative coaching could be—not just for a career, but for an entire life.
Four years later, in 2021, I finally took the leap and trained as a professional coach with Coaching Ways. Accredited ACTP by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in 2022 (yes, full of acronyms), I specialized in business and professional coaching. My focus? Helping entrepreneurs clarify their ideas, overcome obstacles, and move forward while staying aligned with their values.
And like any good coach, I continue to get coached myself. Because I have my doubts, my questions, and that dynamic keeps me growing while staying connected to what my clients experience. Being a coach means listening, learning, and constantly challenging yourself to support others authentically and effectively.
Today, my goal is simple:
to become a trusted reference
for (future) French-speaking Belgian entrepreneurs.
I aim to help them clarify their vision and provide the tools they need to move forward with confidence. All at their own pace, because nothing is worse than living under constant pressure—especially the kind we place on ourselves, which often holds us back the most.
In 2021, as I ventured into self-employment, I quickly discovered that navigating Belgian administration is no small feat. I spent months dissecting options and processes (shoutout to accountants and info sessions!). At the same time, I shared my findings on LinkedIn, testing market interest with over 180 posts (no website, logo, or booking link).
It worked: my first clients came onboard, and I added administrative consulting to my services. My goal? To simplify the process so starting out is no longer a source of discouragement.
Before becoming a coach and advisor, I tried on several hats: project manager, digital transformation consultant, data analyst & engineer, and even a CEO’s right-hand.
These experiences taught me to embrace change, despite the little voices saying, ‘Switching jobs so often will make it hard to find another’ or ‘Going independent? Will you have enough clients to make a living?’
As a long-time podcast enthusiast, I launched Donne le Rythme to showcase the inspiring journeys of Belgian entrepreneurs and share actionable advice. Inspired by French and American formats like Génération Do It Yourself and How I Built This, I wanted to create the same motivation I found in these stories: an authentic space where every journey inspires progress. Today, it’s one of my greatest joys, and I dream of growing it even further—always at my own pace.
